My career began with the fundamentals—framing new construction and residential additions under the guidance of my grandfather. In those early years, I didn't just learn how to swing a hammer; I learned how to see the skeleton of a home and understand that everything visible depends entirely on the strength of what is hidden.
When I moved to Atlanta, the scale changed. Doors opened that I never could have anticipated, leading me to manage acquisitions and large-scale projects for the city's most prominent real estate investors. Eventually, I partnered with my best friend to launch our own business, specializing in property wholesaling and project management. We weren't just building houses; we were building a name, a reputation, and a series of successful companies.
But at the height of that success, life provided a different kind of lesson. Following a devastating breakup, I watched as the professional world I had built seemingly vanished overnight. In that season of starting over and finding my own way, I realized a fundamental truth that no job site could have taught me: The most important structure you will ever manage is your own mind.
That experience became the catalyst for a total transformation. I realized that while I knew how to build a physical structure, I had to learn how to rebuild a life. It led me to the philosophy that guides everything I do today:
“Change your behaviors, and you’ll change your habits. Change your habits, and you’ll change your mindset. Change your mindset, and you’ll change your life.”
- Patrick Grenier
Today, I bridge these two worlds. I continue to lead high-level construction and restoration projects that demand extreme precision and accountability, managing the complex logistics of physical builds. However, my work no longer ends when the drywall is up. I now coach individuals who are ready to do the "heavy lifting" of internal reconstruction—helping them identify the cracks in their own foundation and apply the discipline required to build a life that is truly structurally sound.
Whether we are talking about a historic restoration or a personal revolution, the approach is the same: we start with the framework.
